Good stuff! Particularly interested in the ideas you showed with the black top/black jeans outfit. I have been completely anti-jewelry for a couple of months now, but I could definitely see myself coming back around as it starts getting hotter.
Every single post I learn so much from you! I am really bad and accessories. But I'm learning to accept I like a simple earring, chain necklace, or my tennis necklace. I think I go for more simple pieces since my looks are typically very bold.
Omg, these Reformation sandals are AMAZING 💛 And I loved the example you used about being more playful with jewelry placement, it really does completely change a look.
The final collage showing all the outfits with the jewellery touches is awesome. It real showcases your thoughtful accessories edit. Love a vintage jewelry line up from you!
I LOVE your visuals. Your necklace proportions image makes it so easy to see how lengths can change things up. Your Pepito necklace is stunning. Looking forward to your vintage jewelry edit, especially if you include necklaces that have caught your eye.
This was so helpful! One of my goals is to lean into jewelry as outfit-making this summer, and I love how you should it as a key layering element rather than just an add-on!
Thanks so much, Lindsay!! What I love about jewelry is that there truly is something for everyone, and it can add something very personal to an outfit.
Great lesson, style teacher! I'm here taking notes as always. That skirt looks so beautiful on you and highlights your skin tone! I need to get something very similar for the summer! I have a lot of short necklaces; I think I need to invest in a long one, and vintage would be even better!
This combo is my favorite way to dress. I love how you explained this; the buttoned up top with bangles is so especially great. I don’t know what it is exactly but I never feel quite right wearing my shorter beaded necklaces. I have one tiny bead necklace that’s short that I love but for some reason I prefer a slightly longer drop or a very long necklace. Maybe it’s my proportions? (I’m a lil busty.) I will be following this guide. That black tank is so cool btw.

It's wild how easy it is to make a black monochromatic outfit feel dressed up with some jewelry. Thanks so much for reading, Angela ♥️

Thanks so much, Elaine! I’m excited to work on a jewelry edit ♥️
BIG YES to jewelry doing the heavy lifting when clothes are simple - suddenly a white tee is not just a white tee anymore!
You get it, my friend ♥️
Ok but that skirt. Consider me officially *~influenced~*
It’s a beauty ☺️
You always wear jewelry in such an inspiring way! Thank you for sharing your wisdom!
Thank YOU for reading ♥️
This was AMAZING! Loved all the examples.
So glad to hear that! Thanks for reading, Xue ♥️

and brooks brothers invented the button-down in 1900 to keep the collars from flapping in polo players faces when they had a match!
Ooh love learning that!

Thanks so much, friend ♥️ yes, playing around with length can do so much for balancing out proportions!
I can see that now!

Danielle, thank you!! I have only recently started wearing longer necklaces and it's been an eye-opener 😁 I love that longer line they create.
